Resin Bound Driveways in Bolton and the North West
Resin bound is a seamless finish with no loose stone, laid over a properly prepared base. It is permeable, so surface water drains through rather than running off, and there are no joints for weeds to come through. The aggregate colour is chosen at quote stage. Resin needs a sound base to go over, so we tell you at the visit whether your existing surface can be used or whether it needs digging out first.
Resin bound is small stone bound with a high-strength resin to form a firm, attractive surface in a wide choice of colours. It is permeable, so water drains straight through rather than running off, which is kinder to the surrounding ground, and where the base is sound it can sometimes be laid over the top to keep the cost down.
